We were visiting my elderly father who lives in bakewell and we took him out for a meal. He suggested this pub as he had been there years ago. The pub is set in a lovely little village so pretty. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was excellent , home cooked and very tasty. We had a lovely couple of hours there. Definately would recommend this pu for a meal.

Lovely location. Excellent food and friendly staff. Went for Sunday dinner with a friend and would highly recommend. We were recommended that morning to give it a try and so glad we did. However I would recommend you ring and book they get extremely busy.
